The Smith 1310 12-inch commercial roof drain is used on flat roofs of any construction where a medium sized drain is required. The low profile poly dome protects the drain sump and connecting piping from debris. Aluminum, cast iron, galvanized cast iron and rouge bronze domes are also available.
The roof drain includes a duco cast iron body with combined flashing clamp and gravel stop. The flashing clamp holds the flashing and roofing material without puncturing.

Smith 1310 Underdeck Clamp
An underdeck clamp for the Smith 1310 Roof Drain should be specified on all but pour-in-place roof drain installations.
Roof drains must be firmly secured to the roof with an underdeck clamp. If not, snow and rain loads, and regular roof expansion and contraction will cause the roofing membranes to flex and fail. Brittle tar will crack and leaks may also occur.
